KS1 children are able to go straight to their cloakroom, where they will be met by a teacher / TA. KS2 children should line up in the playground, where they will be collected by their teacher / TA. Anyone arriving from 9a.m onwards should use the main office gate please.

School Uniform

Personal presentation is very important to us as we believe it helps promote high standards and encourages children to take pride in themselves and their school. For any new starters or parents unsure of correct uniform, the guidelines are as follows:

  • Plain white shirt / blouse / polo-shirt
  • Royal blue jumper / sweatshirt / cardigan
  • Dark grey or black trousers / skirts / shorts
  • White, black or grey socks
  • All black shoes / trainers
  • PE Kit – Plain white t-shirt and dark blue or black shorts, with pumps or trainers

Sweatshirts, fleeces, cardigans and polo shirts and PE t-shirts embroidered with the school badge can be ordered from MyClothing.Com by clicking on the following link -   My Clothing

Our Activ8 sports coaches are in each Wednesday and children should continue to arrive ready changed in their PE kit please. Each class then has an additional PE day where children will change in school (Class Teachers will notify you of this!).

Please could all uniform have children’s names written in as this ensures that any left clothing is returned to the correct child. Can we also ask that all skirts & shorts are of a reasonable length i.e. just above the knee.  Thank you!

Swimming  - Pupils in Y4 attend a weekly 45-minute swimming session at Dearne Valley Leisure Centre. In order to adhere to the health and safety regulations, children must wear appropriate swimwear as follows please:

  • Swimming trunks or close fitting swim shorts (no baggy Bermuda / Board shorts etc)
  • One-piece swimming costume (no a bikinis)
  • Long hair must be tied back, or a swimming cap used.

Jewellery - In order to adhere to the health and safety regulations - no item of jewellery can be worn at school except for a watch, and ear studs (no body piercings) or to conform to religious beliefs. Pupils must remove jewellery to participate in any P.E. except to conform to religious beliefs.

Other items your child will require:

Food Allergies

Due to us having pupils in school with severe peanut allergies, please can we ask that children do not bring in any nut-based products (including in packed-lunches). Some of our pupils also require special diets and for that reason, children are not allowed to swap food with each other. Please can you discuss this with your child to remind them.
